Manny "pacman " Pacquiao Vs. David Diaz (Lethal Combination)
Manny isn't worried at all about reaching a 135 lbs. for his upcoming fight, but the 39.4 degress Celsius heat of Las Vegas bothers him instead.
The heat was so intense that his trainer Freddie Roach and Eric Brown had to fan him after his training session in IBA Gym .
"Manny's a great puncher, regardless," Brown said. "He's going to be a great puncher at any weight. And of course, carrying a little bit of extra weight is going to help him strentgh-wise. But as far as punching ability, he's born with that. Knock-out power is something you're born with. It can't be trained."
If he beats David Diaz in their World Boxing Council (WBC) lightweight title bout on Sunday (Saturday in the US), Manny promised to donate a part of his price to the victims of the MV Princess of Stars caused by the - Typhoon Frank.
Manny is indeed a real champ for all of the Filipinos. May he be blessed with his fight.
